In this worldbuilding scenario, people from the 23rd Century go back and make gene edits to people in the early 21st Century. These gene edits dramatically affect childbirth in negative ways. Since the gene edits affected the ancestors of some very dangerous people and entities, various attacks occur on the gene editors. Various methods are followed to ensure that childbirth still occurs in alternative ways.
